This area, once a thriving paradise for researchers from various disciplines, is now in a state of ruin, a result of overreaching ambitions.
The landscape exhibits considerable variation from earlier patches, primarily due to the Allogravity-Condensed Water Bodies that hover above the remnants of the past. Nevertheless, Genshin Impact continues to challenge players’ visual perception and exploration abilities through its cleverly concealed chests. Seasoned players are well aware of the exasperating instances when they discover a chest that does not initially appear to be one, followed by a fleeting sense of gratification.
Several secret chests are available that explorers may have inadvertently bypassed during their adventures, largely due to their elusive nature or their random appearance, which could discourage thorough searching.

Secret Chest #1
Many gamers are expected to be familiar with this secret chest, as the ‘fruit in the tree’ strategy was similarly noted in Mondstadt. Despite being potentially the simplest secret chest in the region, there is a possibility that players might consider it a glitch. To access it, travelers should teleport to the waypoint at the New Fontaine Research Institute and head in a westerly direction.
Once players have exited the building and turned slightly to their left, they will be able to see the Bulle Fruit situated in the tree. By climbing the tree and clicking on the fruit, they will be rewarded with a Common Chest and 2 Primogems.
Secret Chest #2
The next chest can be a bit challenging, as it might be mistaken for a regular enemy. A group of Anemo slimes is floating around some trees to the south of the region. Travelers are encouraged to teleport to the westernmost waypoint and head south up the mountain. At the base of the next mountain, there will be a set of trees with Anemo slimes floating above. By targeting each slime, players will earn an Exquisite Chest.
Secret Chest #3
Navigate to the waypoint located southeast of the Experimental Field Generator and proceed in a northeast direction towards the specified location. Players will encounter a multitude of trees with Bulle Fruits scattered on the ground. Collecting all the fruits in the area will grant them an Exquisite Chest.
It is important for players to be aware that a contingent of Treasure Hoarders will appear as they approach the chest. Upon vanquishing these foes, travelers will receive the standard reward of 5 Primogems from the chest.
Secret Chest #4
Navigate to the Central Laboratory Ruins and proceed to the westernmost cube. Within the water, you will find several rocks, one of which will exhibit a gleaming spot. However, this particular gleam is atypical and cannot be interacted with directly. Travelers are required to swim near the spot and remain patient until the light fades and reappears on the subsequent rock. Continue to follow the sparkle until it concludes, rewarding players with a Common Chest and 2 Primogems.
Caution is advised for players as they navigate towards the radiant point, since the rocks are in close proximity to the edge, increasing the likelihood of a fall from the Allogravity Condensed Water Body.
Secret Chest #5
This secret chest is positioned at the summit of a mountain close to the Statue of Seven, located in the Fontaine Research Institute Region. Players should teleport to the Statue of Seven and move east, necessitating a climb to the mountain’s peak. At the top, explorers will encounter a Pyro barrel. To mitigate the risk of being dislodged from the peak by the barrel’s explosion, it is recommended to have a bow unit in the party. Successfully executing this will grant players an Exquisite Chest and 5 Primogems.
Secret Chest #6
The final chest will allow players to teleport to the underwater waypoint positioned north of the Experimental Field Generator Boss. It is recommended that travelers head west and remain near the seabed, swimming in a straight line until they encounter the submerged tower. Beneath this structure, a variety of cans will be scattered across the seafloor. Players must break all these cans to receive an Exquisite Chest along with 5 Primogems.
Moreover, it is important for players to recognize that there are some cans obscured behind a rock in the vicinity that need to be broken. The ability of the Xenochromatic Jellyfish, which can be seen swimming nearby, can be used to break the rock and the cans.
While many of these chests may remain inconspicuous, it is essential for players to remain vigilant for any anomalies, as these can yield significant rewards and enhance the exploration experience.
Genshin Impact can now be played on mobile platforms, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Development of a Nintendo Switch version is in progress.
