Pokémon Go plans to introduce item sharing within Parties

Exciting Developments in Pokémon Go: Item Sharing and Route Improvements on the Horizon

Recent data analysis has revealed that Pokémon Go is preparing to implement a feature that enables item sharing among players within Parties.

This innovation could allow users to share the benefits of active items like Lucky Eggs, Star Pieces, and Incenses with fellow party members. However, as the feature is still under testing, changes may occur before its official release, warns the Pokémon Go Hub.

The feature suggests that a single player could activate a Lucky Egg to double their XP and then distribute this boost to all other members in the Party. This functionality aims to reduce the consumption of resources and PokéCoins typically used to purchase premium items individually.

Parties, which were launched last October, allow groups of up to four players to view each other’s avatars on the in-game map and tackle mini cooperative challenges together. One of the key advantages of being in a Party is the increased attack power during raids, making it easier for smaller teams to conquer more formidable bosses.

However, players have noted that participating in a Party can significantly drain device battery life, leaving many hoping for future enhancements in that area.

Additionally, enhancements for the Routes feature—introduced last summer and designed for player-created walking experiences—are reportedly in development. According to the data mine, up to three Zygarde cells will now be located on each Route. Furthermore, new profile badges are in the works for players who complete a certain number of Routes as well as for those who complete various unique Routes, with the first badge already becoming available.

In reaction to the mixed feedback on recent avatar changes, Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, has indicated that it is actively considering player suggestions.

The next major event, Go Fest 2024, is set to take place in Madrid and New York, leading up to a global celebration in July. This year’s festivities will introduce an exciting Pokémon Fusion mechanic and feature the powerful creature, Necrozma.

Pokémon Go enthusiasts have much to look forward to as these updates and events promise to enhance the gaming experience significantly.
